Founder, Architect - Q-BIC
Q-BIC is a multidisciplinary design studio founded in Florence in 2005 by Luca Baldini, architect, and Marco Baldini, designer and artist.
Since its inception, the studio's activities have ranged from architecture to graphics, dealing with interior design, special fittings and events related to the world of fashion and theatre sets.
It is especially when designing temporary installations that a marked propensity for experimenting with novel stylistic solutions and innovative use of materials emerges and takes shape. In architecture, this translates into a desire to integrate traditional techniques and solutions with a language that is fully contemporary.
Constant research into form and the use of materials has also led the studio to deal with design for the conception and realisation of everyday objects, always working in the intersection of memory and innovation.
Over the years, a strong experience has been consolidated in the design of commercial environments related to food, hospitality and urban regeneration projects through the recovery of existing buildings in disused industrial contexts.
